This

I hear birds, bugs, and traffic.
There are small trees and bushes.
Small plants are growing on the side and the breeze is son cool. Shades
of the trees are cooling us from the hot sun rays. Little sticks and
twigs are all over. Little rocks and small bugs are crawling on the
ground.
I feel so calm, and I feel nature a lot more than when I'm at school,
home, or other places. It's quiet except for the bugs and birds. Up
in a tree, a squirrel goes into its nest. It's so calm. Its so relaxing.
Hmm. |
|
I hear locusts in the trees.
I also hear squirrels.
I hear the trees whistling.
I feel the tickling of the grass
on my legs.
A lot of people don't care about the rivers, lakes, streams, and ponds-
but a lot of people do!
I know that I care. |

|
The creek bed is dry,
with little pools of water,
where little water spiders play all day.
My friends sitting with me,
thinking while the crickets chirp with all their might.
|
 |
When I came to the creek I felt like I came to a cooler place.
The trees shade the area making it cooler. The sounds of crickets,
birds, and leaves make it relaxing. It is relaxing to sit on the
ground listening to the birds and crickets. As I looked in the empty
stream I saw racoon foot-prints.
I have always loved bodies of water. It's cool here because of
a tree giving us shade. I like listening to nature!
