-Volunteer Opportunities-

Kansas StreamLink has a
variety of volunteer opportunities available. There are two basic types
of positions (field support and office support).
Field Support could involve helping at water festivals with the Mudscaped activity or with the assessment program that deals with streams, wetlands, or storm water. There is also the stewardship program, which is a great way to give back to environment in the way of improving water quality. Office Support can come in the way of technical support, creative writing, and maintenance of equipment. Technical support can be anything from webpage design and data base entry to program development and outreach/recruitment. It is our vision that through our volunteer program that we teach the principals of conservation as we work with volunteers. It is more of a service learning opportunity that focuses on the volunteer as well as the project at hand. The volunteer will leave the StreamLink experience with a better understanding of Kansas stream, lakes, and conservation.
